John´s approach is never predictable or prescriptive. He has a style which guides one´s thinking in such a way that one arrives at previously non-obvious solutions to problems. He adopts the “open question” very well – and often poses another question to you when you were expecting an answer. However he does it in such a way that you start to realise you are answering your own questions. John imbues the sessions with a wealth of knowledge and references to the body of literature associated with the art of interpersonal development. However the academic side never intrudes upon the personal approach which he adopts – it simply adds value, credibility and further avenues for follow up and study
